Google Play screenshot sizes
Checked against Google Play Console Help on 2026-09-10.
The short answer
Google Play has no exact list of required screenshot dimensions. Start with 1080 x 1920 in portrait or 1920 x 1080 in landscape. Images must be JPEG or 24-bit PNG without an alpha channel, between 320 and 3840 pixels per side, with the longest side no more than twice the shortest. Upload 2 to 8 screenshots per device type. For promotion or featured placements, provide at least 4 screenshots at 9:16 and at least 1080 x 1920, or at 16:9 and at least 1920 x 1080.

Other required graphics
- Feature graphic: 1024 x 500, JPEG or 24-bit PNG without an alpha channel; required.
- App icon: 512 x 512, 32-bit PNG with alpha, maximum 1024 KB.
- TV banner: 1280 x 720 if your app targets Android TV.
Rules that get sets rejected
- Images with an alpha channel or transparency.
- An aspect ratio over 2:1, such as reusing 1290 x 2796 iPhone exports without reformatting them.
- Fewer than 2 screenshots for the listing.
- Wear OS screenshots with device frames, text or extra graphics.
- Screenshots that do not show the app in use.
