Without Figma
App Store screenshots without a Figma file.
You do not need a Community template, device frames, or a 3x export. Upload screens from the running app. Screenies plans headlines and backgrounds and places your UI in the selected frame. There is no Figma plugin and no visual canvas.
1 credit per phone slide. No account needed to read this page.

- 01
Capture the app
Screenshot the flows from Simulator, emulator, or a device. Use the UI you will ship, not a drawn mock.
- 02
Generate the set
Describe the app. Screenies writes headlines in code and paints background art only. Your screen stays as uploaded.
- 03
Download PNG at store size
Exports are opaque PNG at the selected iPhone, iPad, or Android size. Check them in the free size checker before upload.
What you give up by leaving Figma
Screenies has no layer list, no free-position text, and no template picker. If you need to nudge every caption by hand, a Figma file still does that job. The Figma template guide covers that route.
What you avoid is maintaining frames when Apple changes a display class, exporting one pixel off, and shipping a transparent PNG that App Store Connect rejects.
Canva and Photoshop are the same kind of work
Credits, not a design seat
Generation is 1 credit per phone slide. Packs are one-time purchases. Headline edits after generation do not use credits.
Upload when the set looks right
Check files with the size checker. Then follow the upload guide. React Native, Flutter, and Expo capture steps are on their own pages.
