App Store screenshot sizes
Checked against Apple's App Store Connect specifications on 2026-08-12.
The short answer
You only need two screenshot sets. For iPhone, upload a 6.9-inch set at 1320 x 2868 (1290 x 2796 and 1260 x 2736 are also accepted). If your app runs on iPad, add a 13-inch set at 2064 x 2752. App Store Connect scales these to every smaller display automatically. You can upload 1 to 10 screenshots per size, as JPEG or PNG without transparency.

Rules that get sets rejected
- JPEG or PNG only, and no alpha channel or transparency.
- Exact pixel dimensions: App Store Connect rejects anything that is not on the accepted list for the display size.
- 1 to 10 screenshots per display size. The first 3 portrait screenshots show in search results.
