ChatGPT connects custom remote MCP servers through Developer mode, available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans. Screenies then works in regular chats and Deep Research.

Connect Screenies to ChatGPT

In Settings, enable Developer mode (under Connectors, Advanced).
In Connectors settings, create a custom connector with this URL:

Choose OAuth as the authentication method and complete the sign-in prompt.

Free plans cannot add custom connectors; Developer mode is the gate.

Sign-in uses OAuth: ChatGPT opens a browser window where you log in to Screenies and approve the connection. No API keys, and you can revoke access anytime from your Screenies account settings. Reference: ChatGPT developer mode docs.
