Screenshot layout archetype
Tilted 3D device
Adoption data from 1031 top-chart iOS apps analyzed in August 2026.
Definition
A screenshot layout where the phone mockup is rotated in perspective, adding depth and motion to the panel. Across our corpus, 4% of analyzed screenshots use this layout.
How to use it
- Adds energy and a premium feel, common in finance and entertainment sets.
- Tilting costs legibility: the UI on the screen becomes decoration, so pair it with a strong headline that carries the message.
- Use it for one or two panels, not the whole set; a fully tilted set is hard to read in search results.
