The formula
A headline that simply names the feature or screen, sometimes just one or two words. It accounts for 20% of the headlines in our corpus.
Typical shape: "Workouts", "History & Trends", "Automatic Step Counter".
When to use it
- The lowest-effort formula, and it shows: it tells the shopper what a thing is, not why they should care.
- Fine deep in a set (screenshots five through ten) once the value case is made.
- If the feature name is not self-evidently valuable, upgrade it to a benefit statement.
